CNC Machinist 

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our small team at EMF Ball Joints. We have been in business for 21 years manufacturing automotive steering and suspension components.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and be proficient in operating CNC lathes and milling machines. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with precision tools, and a commitment to producing high-quality components. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in the fabrication of parts according to specifications, ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Full Time CNC Machinist - Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Fridays 7am-3pm, Stat Holidays Off

- Must have minimum 5 years experience as a Machinist

- Must be familiar with set up, programming and running Fanuc Systems on DN Solutions Lynx Machines

- Must be familiar with set up, programming and running a Haas VF3 Milling machine

- Must be proficient in Autodesk Fusion for drawing

- Must be able to bend, twist, move and lift heavy items on a daily basis

- Must be able to machine or mill a high quality end product to company specifications with minimum tolerances

- Must already live within driving distance to Linden, Alberta

- Alberta Blue Cross Enhanced Medical/dental/vision Benefits after 3 months of employment

Experience

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating milling machines and familiarity with various hand tools.
  • Experience with programming CNC machines, particularly using Mazatrol is preferred.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
